Brandon Polanco

Brandon Polanco is a Brooklyn based filmmaker with Austin, Texas roots. He started directing theatrical productions and Producing back in Austin with Latino based company, Teatro Vivo, and Zilker Theatre Productions. He Moved to New York City and Within a year began creating movies to help find a creative outlet.  He created a series of short films detailing an onslaught of emotions and memories from his life in the city.  

Writer’s Block (2013), which stars Bryan Cranston (AMC’s Breaking Bad), showcases the confrontation between fear and art. His second short film, Passing By (2014) depicts his memories intertwined around an incident where he was hit by a cab driver. The third short film in his series, Vicky & Jonny (2015), is a story about the journey of forgiveness and letting go of your past.

Brandon has directed many other projects from music videos to commercials. One of his biggest endeavors was writing, directing, acting and executive producing his series Pride (2014). Additionally, Brandon is co-owner of a company called Expired 3 Production of A Kind Productions.  You can see the company’s work at: www.3ofakindproductions.net.
