Photographer & director Roy Schweiger has found his true path as a teenager by shooting videos and documentary films which evolved to a strong passion for photography. The smallest details are inseparable part of his vision while he constantly seeks ways to break his own rules.
His career took off when he moved to Europe in his early 20’s. Interpretation of videos in photography is a perfect way to describe the cinematic approach in Roy’s work and the correlation between the two.
Among his assignments for some of the well-known fashion houses such as Trussardi, Gaetano Navarra, Neil Barrett, Les Hommes, Hicky Freeman and DSQUARED2 for which he created their first 2.5 Dimension animated video.
He once was told he would never be able to provide an image and a video by himself at the same day for the same assignment. 2.5 dimension animation videos (Parallax) are the end result for the equation, still images turned into animated scenes are his answer for a simple idea followed by complex execution.
Roy is based in New York since 2015. His work has been showcased in Milan, Cannes and Tel Aviv.
